Edelbrock part #28538 Valley Plate is for use with Edelbrock Victor Two-Piece Design intake manifolds. It is intended for use on SB2 engines equipped with a tall-deck block. Key feature of plate is a cast-in water passage simplifying plumbing by eliminating the need for external previsions. Other features include .438" intake flange thickness and additional .500" of metal on the flanges compared to the #2853. It also has machined provisions for temperature gauge, temperature warning light and cooling system pressure.
